A far-right German politician accused of appearing in pornographic films took a photo with Donald Trump on election day.
The Daily Beast on Tuesday identified Phillipp-Anders Rau, 41, as Trump’s guest at Mar-a-Lago as the Republican candidate cruised to victory.
“Being able to shake @realdonaldtrump’s hand as the only AfD member there on the day of his victory will be an eternal memory,” Rau posted on Instagram. “Let us hope that Donald Trump creates for his country the renewal that we in the AfD are planning for our country.”
Rau is running for a seat in the German parliament as part of the Alternative für Deutschland party, a far-right anti-immigrant party that Germany’s intelligence service called a “suspected extremist” organization.
Last year, several high-ranking AfD members were exposed for meeting with neo-Nazis over the issue of mass deportations.
The Secret Service told The Daily Beast that Rau, who denies appearing in porn films, was allowed to be in close contact with Trump because he was a guest at Florida’s members-only club.
“In this case, this individual was physically examined and allowed entry because he was included in a formal invitation,” a Secret Service spokesperson told the publication, adding that Mar-a-Lago “is a private club open to members and your guests.’
The Secret Service did not say who invited Rau, nor did a Trump transition spokesperson respond to DailyMail.com’s inquiry about the matter.

Rau did not respond to the Daily Beast’s request for comment.
On Election Day, Rau was joined at Mar-a-Lago by Leonard Jäger, a far-right influencer who has expressed homophobic views, pushed conspiracy theories about COVID-19, and subscribes to the Reichsbürger movement, whose members reject legitimacy of the modern German state. .
The Secret Service spokesperson added that the Secret Service “works to ensure that all persons who enter a secured facility do not pose a security risk.”
But that doesn’t mean guests can’t politically harm the incoming president.
During the 2022 Thanksgiving holiday, Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes, who has since gone viral for his misogynistic “your body, my choice” rant after Trump won re-election, and anti-Semitic rapper Kanye West They had dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
It was West who brought Fuentes to the club.
That caused a major headache for the Trump campaign, as Trump had announced his bid for re-election in 2024 the week before.
“Trump was very impressed, but Trump didn’t know who he was,” a source told NBC of Trump’s meeting with Fuentes at the time.
Phillipp-Anders Rau (second from left) also posted a photo of now President-elect Donald Trump with several Germans at his Mar-a-Lago club on election day.
In a Truth Social post, Trump clarified that he “did not know” Fuentes and that he had spoken to West about business with the rapper “who did not express anti-Semitism.”
Rau is not as prominent a figure as Fuentes in the United States, but he has caused a sensation in Germany due to explosive reports in the regional newspaper Volksstimme, the Daily Beast detailed.
In August, Rau denied having appeared in pornographic films.
‘At no time have I made professional videos (…). “I’m neither a virgin nor a porn star,” Rau said.
Weeks later, Volksstimme confirmed that there were publicly available adult films starring the German politician.
In turn, Rau tried to sue the publication, but a German court ruled in favor of the newspaper, saying that the AfD member “cannot invoke the fundamental protection of privacy” because “he participated in the filming of a professional porn video that clearly was intended for publication.” ‘
Volksstimme also reported that Rau had been expelled from East Germany’s Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences in 2015 because he altered his high school transcripts.
When Rau attempted to oppose the expulsion, his lawyer argued that he could not be held responsible for his decisions during that period because he was addicted to cocaine.
He was also previously convicted of theft for stealing about $1,590 worth of items from a hotel.
Additionally, Rau is currently in bankruptcy proceedings, The Beast said.
