Brianna LaPaglia has revealed the surprising details behind her breakup with Zach Bryan

It has been revealed that Brianna Chickenfry turned down a life-changing $12 million NDA offer from Zach Bryan following the couple’s very public breakup last month.

Country music star Bryan and the Barstool Sports host, whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia, dated for more than a year, but their relationship ended very publicly in October and details about what happened are still emerging.

Brianna has now decided to speak out on her Barstool BFFs podcast, revealing that Bryan’s team offered her $12 million to sign a non-disclosure agreement that would prevent her from speaking about their relationship.

In the premiere episode of the podcast, which was watched live by more than 200,000 people on Thursday night, she said: “The moment he posted (the breakup announcement), I thought, ‘Fuck you, no I do.” I want a deal, that’s not me.” It was a back and forth, his team called me.

‘They gave me all these options, they started low and then they went up to $10 million, then $12 million. Then they wanted to give me a house, then they wanted to give me an apartment in New York. They wanted to do all these things…

‘$12 million not to mention this relationship you posted on Instagram was so beautiful and you loved me so much. What the fuck are you hiding, buddy? What are you afraid of?

“I went through literal, narcissistic emotional abuse for a year, and he made me believe it was all my fault, isolated me from my entire life, and wouldn’t let me be who I wanted to be. He kept hitting me repeatedly.”

LaPaglia went on to reveal that he initially decided to accept the settlement offer, before changing his mind after Bryan’s legal team allegedly kept making excuses not to transfer the money right away.

His boss, Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy, then got involved and wrote a diss track alongside his co-host that criticized Bryan.

It was later removed by Warner Music due to copyright violations, and Portnoy revealed on the podcast that he became involved with Bryan’s lawyers to try to get the cash sent to his employee.

Dave Portnoy sent an angry text message to Bryan's lawyers urging them to pay LaPaglia his compensation.

In a text message, Portnoy alleges he told Bryan’s attorney, “Hey, I’m Dave Portnoy.” I don’t know who the hell you think you’re dealing with. I’ve been nice until now. Pay Bri as soon as possible or I’ll go for Zach’s throat… I’ve tried to stay out of it, but stop fucking around. Pay him or shut the fuck up. I’m losing patience.’

In the end, LaPaglia says she chose not to waive her rights to talk about the relationship and instead revealed all in a surprising podcast episode.

In it, she detailed the country star’s alleged ’emotional abuse’ of her, which lasted throughout their relationship until their breakup last month.

“The fact that I’m not taking the money (from the confidentiality agreement) is not just for me, it’s for anyone else who has been emotionally abused, it’s for the people who are being emotionally abused right now,” she explained.

‘It’s for people who don’t have a support system that I was lucky enough to go through this. This last year of my life has been the most difficult of my life, dealing with abuse of this type.

‘I’m still scared right now, I’m scared of him, my brain is rewired, I’m scared of making him angry. Last week I didn’t want to talk about it because I was scared.’

Chickenfry later alleged that his previous girlfriends had been “forced” to go down that path.

“I said, ‘Fuck your money,’ but you made the women who came before me believe they had no choice but to take your money, sign off on their experiences, sign off on what they went through,” she said.

‘You can jump up and sing your damn songs on stage like you’re a good guy. I don’t want to buy a damn house in two years and think, “Oh, this is money from the guy who literally broke me and destroyed me for a year.”
