The glamorous NRL WAGs will steal the show at the 2024 Dally M Awards on Wednesday night in their stunning gowns.
The NRL’s night of nights has seen the WAGs show off some incredible and questionable fashion choices in previous years.
In fact, several attendees didn’t get their red carpet outfits right, choosing shocking colors, fabrics that didn’t fit well, and cuts that didn’t flatter their figures.
An unforgettable fashion faux pas came in 2019, when Canberra Raiders star Jack Wighton’s wife Monisha Lew-Fatt turned heads in a hot pink dress designed to accentuate her sensational figure.
The eye-catching outfit featured several cutouts in the front that were designed to help highlight her gym-toned body.
Monisha struggled to maintain her modesty in her barely-there outfit, leading to an embarrassing moment.
Drama unfolded when the risqué outfit exposed more than anticipated when Monisha inadvertently flashed her underwear to the cameras, a wardrobe malfunction that set tongues wagging.
Meanwhile, Sam Burgess’ then-wife Phoebe made guests do a double take at the 2017 ceremony when she wore a low-cut black Alex Perry dress with a thigh-high slit.
The embarrassing fashion fail at the Dally M Awards that everyone is still talking about years later, including Jack Wighton’s wife Monisha Lew-Fatt’s fashion faux pas in 2019.
Monisha struggled to maintain her modesty in her barely-there outfit.
Phoebe’s eye-catching outfit attracted attention that night, particularly at one point when she accidentally flashed her underwear.
This year’s Dally M Awards are expected to go off without a hitch on Wednesday night.
The red carpet begins at 5:30pm on Wednesday AEST, with the awards ceremony starting at 7:30pm and the counting for the men’s Dally M Medal starting at 8:00pm, all from Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.
Channel Nine will not televise the ceremony, so viewers will need to tune in to Foxtel or streaming service Kayo, both of which will begin their coverage at 7:30 p.m.
Melbourne’s Jahrome Hughes is widely regarded as the best chance to win the men’s Dally M for the NRL’s best and fairest player.
Meanwhile, Sam Burgess’ then-wife Phoebe made guests do a double-take at the 2017 ceremony when she wore a jaw-dropping black Alex Perry dress with a thigh-high slit.
Phoebe’s eye-catching outfit turned heads throughout the night, particularly at one point where she was photographed at a revealing angle and photographers got a revealing view of her underwear.
