John Schneider of the Dukes of Hazzard said his production studio in Holden, Louisiana was damaged by Hurricane Ida.

The Mount Kisco, New York-born entertainer, 61, shared a photo of the damage to Facebook Monday, which showed one of the General Lee cars from the show being destroyed by a fallen tree.

“Well… When something like that happens, you have two choices: tears and laughter. I choose to laugh,” he wrote. ‘So… What’s your signature? This is mine: “Miss Ida came by last night to see the general at Miss Shirley…”‘

Schneider, who is also a country singer, was featured in a clip published by TMZ Tuesday, in which he begged his fans to help in the aftermath of the natural disaster.

“My request is that if you know someone who is going through something like this, you help them – go out and help them,” said the actor, who played Bo Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard during the six-year run of The Dukes of Hazzard. “If you don’t, I’d really like you to help us out by going to the store – JohnSchneiderStudios.com … and I’d really appreciate it.”

He added: ‘We are independent filmmakers, independent thinkers. And we’re free too, and we’ll get out of here.”

Schneider, who appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2018, said he returned to the city after spending time in Tennessee to work on hurricane relief.
