The Duke of Sussex managed to take some time for himself after making a private trip to Botswana earlier this week.

Prince Harry, who visited the country without his wife Meghan Markle, met with senior staff and members of the Rhino Conservation Botswana organization.

Botswana is helping to safeguard the continent's population of black and white rhinos, and the duke shows great interest in the work of the RCB as a UK sponsor.

The Prince attended the annual meeting in Maun on Wednesday and then went on to see a community project of the RCB in the village of Xarakao.

Now he is believed to be back in the United Kingdom.

At 33 years old, he has always loved the African country and has decided to take his girlfriend, Meghan, in 2016 for his third date.

Then, the Duke of Sussex visited the country at this time last year to celebrate the 36th birthday of the former actress.

Meghan's engagement ring not only presents diamonds from the personal collection of Diana, Princess of Wales, but a stone from Botswana.

The private trip follows a similar visit to the country in January, when he carried out another research mission to learn about the latest events in the organization.

A spokeswoman for the Kensington Palace said: "The Duke of Sussex is on a private work trip to Botswana, to join the annual general meeting of Rhino Conservation Botswana in his capacity as patron." He attended the board meeting in Maun and a RCB community project in the village of Xarakao.

It is unlikely that the royal couple will be seen in public until September, as they take a break from the spotlights.

Their last official commitment together was at the Sentebale Polo Cup in Berkshire, after a tight schedule last month that included a tour of Dublin.
