Sophie and Edward were pictured watching another Paralympic event in Paris on Wednesday, as the Duke struggled to watch the game from behind a tall spectator.

The pair got into the Team GB spirit as they cheered on wheelchair fencer Oliver Lam Watson.

Sophie enthusiastically cheered on the British athlete as she enjoyed the event with her seat neighbours, however Prince Edward, 60, struggled to see past a tall spectator sitting opposite him.

The 59-year-old Duchess was seen in the stands chatting and cheering with British Ambassador to France Mena Rawlings and Paralympics GB chief executive David Clarke.

However, in several photographs of the royal couple, Edward appeared to be craning his neck around the gentleman in front of him in an attempt to see what was happening.

At one point, the Duke even pulled out a pair of binoculars to get a better view of what was happening in the stadium.
