An Oklahoma police officer who stopped and arrested a father for taking his son for a walk is also facing an investigation after a video surfaced showing him beating an autistic child.
Officers were called to Andrea Lambert’s home on June 2 after her autistic son Santiago, 15, threatened family members with a knife.
Lambert says she has called police numerous times in the past to help de-escalate situations involving her son, who has spinal problems.
After filing a request to obtain body camera footage of the incident after discovering bruises on her son, Andrea said News9 She was disturbed by what she saw.
In the footage, her son can be seen being punched numerous times in the face by the unknown officer while screaming.

The officer who punched Santiago, seen here, has also been investigated after body-slamming a father who was walking with his son.
The officer, who is standing over the boy, can be heard telling him: “Let me show you how this is going to happen.”
He then proceeds to turn the boy over so that he is standing upright and proceeds to hit him three times in the face.
After a struggle, the officer’s body camera turns off, but the sound of the boy being beaten continues as he bursts into tears.
The footage then shows the two officers leaving the house with Santiago, who was hospitalized for eight days and given better medication.
When the officers return to speak to Andrea, the officer can be seen admitting, ‘Ma’am, I hate him, but I just hit him three times.
“I didn’t hit him with all my strength just three times, so he would understand,” Andrea can be seen agreeing with.
Despite agreeing with the tactics at the time, Lambert later watched the video and disagreed with how her son was treated.

Talking with News9She said:I said all of that in a moment of vulnerability towards men I thought were there to help.
“You can’t say that an adult with children can look at another man in uniform doing this to a 15-year-old autistic child and say it’s okay. I’m not going to stop until I get justice for my son.”
The use of force incident involving the unnamed officer is now under investigation.
On July 4, that same officer was caught on body camera footage criticizing his father. John Sexton fell to the ground while walking his autistic son early that morning.
The two officers, who were wearing body cameras, captured the tense moments between the officers and Sexton, who told the officers they were “just walking.”
According to Sexton, the morning walk is something he and his young son do regularly.
Despite his protests, one of the officers can be heard firmly telling the father: “No, you’re not. Give me your ID.”
The officer can be heard telling him, “I’m going to take you to jail for not identifying yourself,” before the officer slams Sexton to the ground and detains him.
Sexton then opens the pockets of the shorts he is wearing and tells them, “I don’t have my ID with me because it’s in the house.”
The officer can be heard telling him: “I’m going to take you to jail for not identifying yourself,” before throwing Sexton to the ground and detaining him.
His young son can be heard crying in the background as the violent scene unfolds in front of him.
According to Sexton, her young son has never been the same since the incident in early July.
Talking with COCONUTSexton told the outlet he is now seeking to file charges against the officers.
According to Sexton, her young son has never been the same since, saying, “He’s been a police officer on Halloween for the last two years.”
“That’s what he wanted to be when he grew up. That’s what he says, and now he’s afraid of them.”
‘I mean, it’s horrible to see my son acting, you know, crying like that and seeing my rights violated like that.’
Watonga Police Chief Beth Massey said in a statement: ‘The officer is on administrative leave.
“We have no comment on the ongoing investigation. It is being conducted by an outside agency.”
