A recruitment agency has come under fire from social media users after a group of its employees shared a video from their London office, boasting about having computer games to play and a beer tap in the kitchen.

European recruitment agency Enzo Tech Group posted a video on TikTok using the “of course we” trend, in which users share stereotypical habits of certain groups.

Popular on social media apps like TikTok, the hashtag has garnered more than 57.8 million views on the app.

Viewers of the clip posted by Enzo Tech Group couldn’t help but mock the staff, all of whom appear to be members of Generation Z, after the team was filmed flaunting their relaxed office and numerous job benefits, leading to one to say that it was a convincing argument for the return of National Service.

In the first part of the clip, a member of the company’s Generation Z is filmed filling a pint of Peroni in the office kitchen. He said: “We’re recruiters, of course we have a beer tap in our office.”

Later in the clip, another member of staff is filmed casually lounging on one of several sofas. Surrounded by a television and several board games, he said: “We are recruiters, of course we have a PlayStation, a pool table and a ping-pong table.”

Another scene shows a woman walking past a glamorous-looking vanity mirror and a table laden with beauty products. She said: “We are recruiters, of course we have a beauty station in our office.”

However, viewers of the clip quickly came up with their own hilarious versions of the trend, including: “we’re recruiters, of course we flunk our college majors.”

Another user wrote: “We are recruiters, we have nothing of value to offer society, but we want money to find people who do.”

A third said: ‘We’re recruiters, of course we charge minimum wage! “Okay, our bonuses are free beer and a pool table.”

Others commented on the video and one of them read: “Car sales, hiring, real estate agents.” Three of the scammers’ jobs that make the most money. And these people think they are professionals?

‘Are there any adults working here?’ Another responded.

The agency, Enzo Tech Group, describes itself on LinkedIn as “an on-demand service that brings together IT professionals and companies from across Europe so everyone can reap the benefits.”

Tech company recruiters say they spend a lot of time standing at their office desks.

The company, founded a year ago, is run by recruiters and salespeople with offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and on Canon Street in London.

Their website, which is filled with photos of what appears to be a mostly Gen Z team, includes quirky phrases like “we don’t see sales as a sin.”

In addition to its other quirks, standing on the desk, which has become an increasingly popular trend, appears to be common at the Canon Street office.

As is the habit Gen Zers are often criticized for: always being on the phone, with one employee admitting, “We’re recruiters, of course I’m always on the phone.”

Other videos posted by the company also show various job benefits, including “spa days” and boozy lunches, as well as the company’s Christmas party aboard a yacht.
