Armored Core 6 is only a few months away from the release of the game with a clear picture for all the game seekers and unlike Elden Ring, this game will not be an open world but rather an evolution of the gameplay of the Armored Core series and offers a story-focused single-player experience where the events involve fighting against different robots with a variety of weapons.
According to the developerThe game initially had open world elements, but these were dropped to avoid comparisons between Armored Core 6 and Elden Ring. Do not forget, dear reader, that Armored Core is the most FromSoftware series that received strong interest from the studio before embarking on strong Souls games that proved indescribable success, and this is what made the reveal of Armored Core 6 at the 2022 Game Awards a huge surprise.
That the game is largely linear does not mean that we are not able to explore, the vast environments will provide a sense of hell that lurks in the players, while maintaining the quality that we have come to expect from the design experts from the studio FromSoftware. And with your Armored Core’s advanced movement skills, you’ll be able to explore these large, open spaces.
Speaking of Elden Ring, FromSoftware is also working hard on developing its first post-launch DLC, Shadow of Erdtree. There is currently no release date set for it yet, but it is expected to be released in late 2023.
