But Spanish actress Úrsula Corberó is more accustomed to handling weapons herself, having achieved international fame playing an armed thief.
The star, 35, may be familiar to some from her lead role in the Netflix series Money Heist as Tokyo, a fugitive turned thief, who becomes embroiled in a series of sophisticated plots to extract billions of pounds of bank vaults.
The drama ran for five series and made Corberó one of the most sought-after Spanish actresses in the world.
But her latest role, in the ten-part Sky series, based on the 1971 novel by Frederick Forsyth, looks set to make her an even bigger star.
The broadcaster announced last week that the drama had attracted three million viewers in its first week, one of its biggest launches in two years.

Although it was more of a departure from her role in Money Heist, she has said how she felt attracted to the “very different” character, who little by little must face the truth.
“I’m used to playing characters that are powerful from the beginning and I think Nuria finds her power through drama, so when she discovers the truth (that her husband is not who she thought) she is beginning to discover it.” the strength that is in itself,” said Mrs. Corberó in a recent interview with Square Mile magazine.

‘I lied. I prepared the scene phonetically and sent the tape and then they said the director and the main character wanted to meet you, and I remember on the way to the meeting I was throwing up because I was so nervous and I felt like a liar.
But his rebellious attitude, it seems, has paid off.
“If you want me to play a rebellious character, then you have to deal with a rebellious actress,” he says.
