Claire Foy looked effortlessly regal in her award-winning role as the late queen in Netflix’s The Crown. But it could be argued that Claire Foy’s latest outing lacks the same refinement.
Walking in the London sunshine last week with her boyfriend, singer-songwriter Charlie Cunningham, the British actress looked more casual, even if she was wearing (almost) royal blue.
The pair, wearing a cornflower-coloured crumpled linen shirt and what appeared to be striped pyjama bottoms, were spotted on a casual stroll with Claire’s excitable two-year-old cavapoo.
The couple, both 40, were first spotted together in July last year. It is the actress’ first public relationship since her 2018 split from The History Boys actor Stephen Campbell Moore, the father of her daughter Ivy Rose.

Claire, who recently appeared alongside Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal and Jamie Bell in romantic fantasy All Of Us Strangers, has also been spotted several times walking the dog, which she bought two years ago for nine-year-old Ivy Rose.
But speaking on a podcast, Claire, who has never owned a dog before, admitted it had taken her a while to adjust to the new arrival.
“The first two weeks were hell,” she said. “Having a child was hard work, but the love is so overwhelming that you understand why you’re doing it. But since I got the dog for my son, I started to hate everyone and everything, especially the dog. The poop, the pee…”
The actress is currently filming an adaptation of Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree, which features an all-star cast including Andrew Garfield, Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan, Baby Reindeer’s Jessica Gunning, Lenny Henry and Michael Palin.
She will also appear in the British black comedy Savage House with Richard E. Grant.
