Coronation Street star Adam Hussain has sparked rumours he is keen to step away from the cobbles after a series of hints on Instagram in recent weeks.
Adam has not had a storyline on the soap since January, when he was rushed to hospital in dramatic scenes.
Under one of her acting video posts, one fan asked: ‘Is that the reason you’re not on Corrie?’
However, despite responding to other fans’ comments, Adam did not respond or answer the question.
The actor’s scenes have been minimal since January, when he was rushed to hospital after collapsing from carbon monoxide poisoning.
On Monday, it was revealed that Calum Lill, who plays villain Joel Deering, will also be leaving the cobbles and is scheduled to film his final scenes in the coming months, according to The sun.
This follows recent reports that Bill Fellows, who plays Stu Carpenter, will also be leaving the show.
In the soap opera, it was eventually revealed that Joel had been manipulating and abusing young girls and had also attempted to murder Lauren Bolton.
Joel drugged Lauren and attempted to kill her baby, but his plan backfired when she went into early labor and the baby survived.
Now, his trip is about to come crashing down as his fiancée Dee-Dee has begun to question his lies, leading to his shocking exit.
