The cast of Second World War drama Pressure carried a fake body across Camber Sands Beach in East Sussex on Wednesday in a D-Day re-enactment.
The upcoming film, starring Andrew Scott as Royal Air Force meteorologist James Stagg, follows the true story of the Normandy invasion and is based on the play by David Haig.
When filming began this week, crew members were photographed placing fake bodies in the sea with the water dyed red.
The actors, dressed in khaki uniforms and protective helmets, carried weapons and stormed the beach after arriving on military ships.
Andrew will be joined by Brendan Fraser, who will play American military officer Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Actress Kerry Condon will play Kay Summersby, Chris Messina as American meteorologist Irving P. Krick and Damian Lewis as Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery.
The synopsis reads: “In the seventy-two hours leading up to D-Day, all the pieces are in place except for one key element: the British weather.
‘British meteorological chief James Stagg (Andrew Scott) is called upon to deliver the most momentous forecast in history, which locks him into a tense standoff with the entire Allied leadership.
“Inadequate conditions could devastate the largest maritime invasion ever, while any delay risks German intelligence finding out.
“With only his trusted aide, Captain Kay Summersby (Kerry Condon), to rely on, and haunted by a catastrophic D-Day rehearsal, the final decision falls to Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower (Fraser).
“With just hours to go, the fate of the war and the lives of millions of people hang in the balance.”
The release date of the upcoming film has not yet been announced.
Andrew recently starred in Ripley, a television adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s popular 1955 novel, The Talented Mr. Ripley.
