A convicted child molester has been accused of serving human meat to his neighbors and telling them it was venison.
Nathaniel Bar-Jonah of Worcester, Massachusetts, served his neighbors what he called “little boy pie” and “French fried chicken” during barbecues at his home in 1999, police found.
He is believed to have served human flesh in pies, hamburgers, stews, chili and spaghetti, and when he was told his dishes had a “peculiar taste”, he told his friends that he had prepared them with venison, which he had “hunted, killed, butchered and wrapped up alone.
Bar-Jonah was arrested a year later and during a search of his home, police discovered recipes that included children’s body parts.
The man had allegedly been fascinated by the taste of human flesh since he was six years old and, according to Metro, would scratch his scabs until he bled.

Zachary Bar-Jonah was charged with kidnapping and murder, although the case was later dismissed because Zach’s mother believed her son was still alive. Despite this, Bar-Jonah is still widely believed to be responsible for his murder, and Zach has been declared legally dead.
Janice Kathryn Pockett disappeared in 1973, at the age of seven, in Tolland, Connecticut. Investigators believe Bar-Jonah may have been involved in her disappearance, as he was living in Webster, Massachusetts in 1973, when she disappeared.
Amanda Dawn Gallion was last seen when she was 14 years old, on the morning of October 13, 1997, while she was going to school in her neighborhood of Gillette, Wyoming. Bar-Jonah arrived in Gillette on the night of October 12 and is believed to have been involved in her disappearance.
Andrew John Amato was only four years old when he disappeared in 1978. Bar-Jonah was investigated for his possible involvement in the young man’s case.
However, it was later discovered that the man did not own a rifle and financial records indicated that he had not made any major grocery purchases after Ramsay’s disappearance.
During the period of Ramsay’s disappearance, Bar-Jonah also had a part-time job in the kitchen at Malmstrom Air Force Base and another at a Hardee’s fast food restaurant in downtown Great Falls, Montana.
It is believed that he may have used his position in these two jobs to dispose of evidence by giving it to unsuspecting military men and women at the military base and to customers at the fast food restaurant.
However, in Bar-Jonah’s apartment, detectives found a series of recipes using children’s body parts with titles such as “little boy pie,” “French-fried goat” and phrases such as “lunch is served in the yard with a roasted child.” and ‘Barbecue bee sum young’.
In his journals, Bar-Jonah also made reference to serving these recipes to neighbors.
Although Bar-Jonah was never convicted of Ramsay’s kidnapping and murder, he is still believed to have been responsible and is also suspected of having committed additional homicides in Montana due to police findings at his residences.
