A mother of three from Minnesota was tricked and spoiled while receiving an amazing ambush remodel in celebration of eight years without cancer.
Appearing on the Today Show episode Thursday morning, Monica explained that she wanted a new "professional" look to start the next chapter of her life.
After struggling with cancer in 2010 and receiving the best possible treatment, the working mother decided to pursue a career in health care in order to help others.

Monica made it clear that she was ready for anything, and told today's fashion expert, Jill Martin, that "there were no limitations" on the changes she was willing to make the show's glamorous squad do.
The cancer survivor was the image of confidence when she strutted on stage in an elegant navy blazer over a ready-made blouse.
Monica joined her husband, Ed, who put on a mask for the eyes until the hostess Kathie Lee Gifford gave her approval to see the new look of his wife.
