Former LNP opposition leader John-Paul Langbroek and brother of popular radio host Kate Langbroek caused a stir after posting a suggestive comment on the Instagram post of a government adviser.
The adviser to the Federal Minister for International Development and the Pacific, Brooke Leembruggen, published a photograph of herself and other members of parliamentary staff at Midwinter Ball on Wednesday. She was standing next to her husband Julian Leembruggen, who works as media adviser to the Prime Minister.

Former opposition leader Langbroek admitted
The comment was deleted from Ms. Leembruggen's Instagram account.
Mr. Langbroek admitted to The Australian that it was "inappropriate".
"I eliminated it this morning without being asked, and I apologize for any offense caused," he said.
Also in the picture in the Instagram post was Mrs. Leembruggen's husband, Julian, and the Chief of Staff of the Australian Minister of Commerce, Alistair Mitchell.
The winter solstice ball was held in the House of Parliament and was attended by senators, deputies, husbands, wives and figures of companies and the world of entertainment.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison, opposition leader Bill Shorten and actor Sam Neill were among the guests.
