The Bold and The Beautiful watchers predict the show’s next move after fan favorite dies

Fans of the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful are wondering what will happen now that a longtime character has been killed off.

Warning, spoilers ahead.

Sheila Carter, whom one X (formerly Twitter) user referred to as “the greatest villain ever,” was stabbed to death at the end of the February 26 episode.

Steffy Forrester was the character who committed the murder inside her home after Sheila broke into the residence.

Sheila was pronounced dead by police and paramedics during yesterday’s episode.

Despite the murder, viewers don’t believe the fan-favorite character is actually dead. Instead, they speculate that Sheila could return to the show in the future.

The Bold and the Beautiful debuted on March 23, 1987 and is currently airing its 35th season.

Sheila, played by Kimberlin Brown, had been a character on the show since 1992.

Brown began playing Sheila on The Young and the Restless in 1990 before moving on to The Bold and the Beautiful.

The star’s well-known character was involved in several disputes over the years, one of them with his daughter-in-law Steffy.

Their hatred for each other increased after Sheila shot Steffy, her husband, her grandmother Stephanie, and her stepmother Brooke.

The women had another fight before Monday’s episode, in which the angry daughter-in-law shouted that she wished Sheila was dead.

Steffy got her wish after Sheila broke into her house.

The antagonist wore black gloves and a dark coat with a hood that covered her face.

Steffy immediately knew it was Sheila and told the villainess to “stay away from her.”

He then grabbed a large knife from the kitchen and threatened to stab Sheila.

Sheila, who screamed “no” just before she was stabbed in the chest, bled to death on the floor, leaving Steffy speechless.

Steffy later told police that she saw Sheila at her house after the power went out and that she grabbed the knife because she was trying to protect herself.

‘She lunged at me. “I defended myself,” she told the officers.

Brown told TV Insider that if anyone was going to beat Sheila, he was happy it was Steffy.

X users don’t believe Steffy really defeated her and are writing their theories about what’s next for the legendary evil character.

“I wonder if this is a bait and switch and Shelia isn’t really dead, like maybe the real Shelia is the one outside the house and the person who gets stabbed and killed isn’t the real Shelia…” , one person wrote.

Several X users have found it difficult to believe that Shelia is gone forever and some people have disparaged the character’s death scene.

“This death is worse than a cartoon, for a legend like Sheila Carter/KB, so I don’t buy it,” wrote one X user.
