Meanwhile, the contestants on the highly anticipated 2025 season of The Block will no doubt have their work cut out for them, as a big twist awaits them.
While viewers may think they’ve seen it all on the drama-filled reality show, the 2025 season will inject another never-before-seen twist.
Contestants will have to build their luxury homes completely from scratch in a new plot that is sure to inject even more tension into the already time-pressed and stressful builds.
The 2025 season of The Block will take place in the central Victoria town of Daylesford, and they will reportedly have to use their talents to build their house from scratch.
According to Realestate.com.au, planning documents submitted to Hepburn Shire Council include five new homes that will provide a starting point for contestants.
The Blockheads had previously been tasked with renovating an existing property or, in the case of the 2022 season, renovating homes that were shipped to the Gisborne site.
According to planning documents, contestants will need to complete the design of a five-bedroom floor plan, including a study, living room and garage.
The properties will also include other luxurious amenities including a covered outdoor area and a heated pool.
The documents, which were filed by Group Architects, also suggest the five homes will be nearly identical two-story green developments.
Daylesford was to be the location for the 2024 season of The Block, however production was eventually moved to Phillip Island following a planning dispute.
