Darren Palmer is preparing to sell his charming beach shack in Byron Bay.
Judge Block, 46, purchased the two-story Suffolk Park home in 2022 for a whopping $3.85 million.
He is now expected to take a loss on the four-bedroom, two-bathroom property after it was recently listed for sale with a guide price of between $3.1 million and $3.3 million.
Known as Pompano House, the spacious log home last sold in 2005 for $770,000.
Since Palmer’s purchase, the property has been on the market as a vacation rental for $1,500, according to reports. The Daily Telegraph.
Built in the 1980s, the house is just a 100-metre walk from the ocean and Byron’s famous Tallow Beach.

Located just 6km from Byron Bay’s main street, the property has a well thought-out interior and exterior design that makes the most of the tropical surroundings.

This comes after Palmer also listed her renovated Bondi Beach home earlier this month for $2.98 million.
The 46-year-old interior designer purchased the luxurious property with her husband Olivier Duvillard in 2015.
The reality star converted the home into a luxurious three-level apartment with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, located just 400 meters from Australia’s most famous beach.

When Darren purchased it in the mid-2010s, the house, once a California bungalow, had already been renovated into a split-level home.
Darren collaborated with architect John Deuchrass and construction company Taste Living to completely rebuild the house after purchasing it.
“This poor old house has a lot of room for improvement. I spent years imagining what it would look like when it was fully finished,” Darren told Domain.
He went on to say that he kept only one bedroom “with the original 1920s horsehair plaster-trimmed ceiling,” but ended up renovating the rest within two years.

Once the transformation is complete, the house now features a dual indoor-outdoor living space, a heated pool and four subtropical garden areas.
Darren described his million-dollar home as “a play on a monochromatic tonal palette” and added that it was the perfect style for Bondi.
He said he intentionally designed it as a luxury coastal home “with a lot of attention to detail,” making sure every space had its purpose.
Darren and his partner shared the house with their teenage son and their dogs: Frankie, the French bulldog, and Ziz, the Brussels griffon.
The Block star said working on his own home made him feel a lot of empathy for the contestants he judged in the renovation competition.
