The relationship status of The Block stars Brad and Kylie Baker has been revealed after their marriage was rocked by a shocking on-set ‘flirting’ scandal.
The married couple were involved in explosive scenes on Monday which saw Kylie walk out of production after her husband Brad ‘flirted’ with co-star Mimi Belperio.
Brad confessed to making “inappropriate” comments towards Mimi, who is married to Kristian on the show, while having a drink while his sleeping wife Kylie was within earshot.
Brad later said he believed his marriage was “over” and that he had single-handedly “destroyed my family” with his actions, after Kylie suddenly left the production.
A devastated Kylie apparently flew home to Cairns to be with her and Brad’s four children after revealing how her husband had told Mimi he would “follow her OnlyFans”.
Despite the drama that left their marriage “shattered”, Daily Mail Australia understands that Brad and Kylie are still together and working on their relationship.
“Kylie and Brad have spent months working on their marriage,” a TV source exclusively confirmed.
“Block’s filming left their relationship in tatters and they had been preparing to travel to Australia to see what everyone had been whispering about.”
The relationship status of The Block stars Brad and Kylie Baker (both pictured) has been revealed after their marriage was rocked by a shocking on-set ‘flirting’ scandal.
“A lot of water has gone under the bridge and Kylie has decided to stand by her man,” a friend of Kylie’s continued.
“Brad and Kylie are together and that’s really all Australia needs to know.”
A source close to Kylie claimed Brad had been caught committing “disrespectful behavior” before, but said Kylie doesn’t have to share her reasons for forgiving her husband.
Mimi and Kristian, who are also still together, hinted that Kylie and Brad are working on things when they broke their silence at Channel Nine’s Upfronts on Thursday.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the newlyweds insisted there is no tension between them, Kylie and Brad, adding that they saw the couple a week earlier, hinting at the status of their relationship.
‘There is no tension. We saw them last week and I talked to him. Yes. But nothing happens,” Mimi shared.
Meanwhile, a source claimed the drama that unfolded on screen is “heavily edited” and reminded viewers that the flirting scandal was filmed more than six months ago.
“What Australia has seen now is a version of what happened,” they continued.
“It’s heavily edited and before you judge everyone’s actions, I think it’s fair to say that there has been some magic on television, but the most important thing is that viewers need to know that they are watching something that happened six months ago.”

Insiders also claimed that Kylie and Brad hoped the drama would be “toned down” in the final edit for the sake of their four children and didn’t know what would appear on screen.
“I don’t even think Kylie and Brad believed the producers were going to bury this story, but for the sake of their kids they were hoping it would be toned down,” one shared.
“However, there is no producer in this country who is going to cover up a story like this to save everyone from the embarrassment of that situation.”
A friend of the couple claimed that the situation had been “poorly handled” and that Kylie and Brad should have been able to preview the final edit before it aired publicly.
A source close to Nine also alleged there were concerns behind the scenes about duty of care, with cameras still rolling until 2am
“This had been brewing for a while and everyone working on the show knew this would come to a head if their date night continued,” they stated.
‘There are cameramen who continue recording until 2 in the morning for a reason. It is to capture these types of moments.
“Some of the team thought that creating an environment of drinking and late-night gatherings allowed the two contestants to be in dangerous situations.
Despite Kylie (pictured) leaving the show and the drama leaving their marriage “shattered”, Daily Mail Australia understands Brad and Kylie are still together.
“A lot of people who worked on the show anticipated that things would happen eventually.”
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.
On Monday night, Kylie left production and apparently flew home to Cairns after overhearing her husband “flirting” with fellow contestant Mimi.
The drama began when Mimi and Brad chatted over drinks at her house while Kylie slept within earshot, and Brad admitted he crossed a line with his comments.
‘I said some pretty inappropriate comments. “He was flirting with Mimi…Kylie overheard them and is understandably quite upset,” he later explained.
During a subsequent phone conversation with her mother, Kylie revealed exactly what happened during the shocking conversation between her husband and Mimi.
‘Flirting, as well as talking really inappropriately. How many fucking chances have I given him? Over and over again,” he told his mother.
Kylie then revealed one of the devastating comments her husband made during the flirtatious exchange.
‘Oh, you know I would follow your Onlyfans,’ the electrician and plumber allegedly told Mimi, within earshot of his ‘sleeping’ wife.

She also alleged that Brad was “complaining” about her during the conversation and claimed it had “happened before.”
Kylie immediately left the show, and host Scott announced her departure from the construction site the next morning, and she has not been seen since.
“We found her car, her Block phone, all the high-visibility devices… We’ve done everything we can to locate her and they haven’t seen her,” he said.
Kylie abandoned her vehicle at 2:34 pm that day, taking only her bag, and Brad speculated that Kylie had returned to Cairns to be with her children.
A recorded message on the phone provided by Block to Kylie seemed to support his theory, as she admitted that her marriage was “breaking down.”
‘Okay, then I’ll say goodbye. I can’t be on national television while my marriage falls apart. So I’m going home and I can’t say I’ll be back,” she announced through tears in the message.
‘You can talk to Brad about the details, but unfortunately I can’t do that anymore. Thank you for the opportunity and I’m sorry I couldn’t stay until the end, I’m just not strong enough anymore.’
Speaking to producers later, Brad admitted that he believed his marriage was “over.”
‘I feel ashamed and I feel sorry that other people have to live with my decisions. She is the last person I want to hurt: her, my children or my family. But I managed to do it anyway. There is no way this will go away or get better. “It’s done,” Brad said.
“I would say that I alone have destroyed my family.”
Mimi and Kristian (pictured Thursday), who are also together, recently hinted that Kylie and Brad are still together while sharing how they saw the couple just a week ago.
Breaking her silence over the scandal, Mimi and her husband Kristian told Daily Mail Australia they had flirted, but said they had put the infidelity behind them.
“Our relationship is stronger than ever,” Kristian said when asked about the scandal involving his wife.
‘The thing about the show is that everything we’ve done happened in the past. We have learned from everything we have been through and we are better for it,” Mimi added.
‘So when it happens, it happened in the past. Yes. It doesn’t really bother me.’
“It took leaving The Block to say, ‘Okay, let’s reflect on our experience and what we’ve learned from this,'” Mimi added.
