The Block star Eliza Paschke shocked her fans on Thursday when she took to social media to share an unpleasant encounter she recently had with a “disgusting” airplane passenger.
The 38-year-old reality star shared a video on Instagram revealing she felt disgusted after the man sitting next to her on a flight had a long coughing fit and spit up phlegm.
“I was on a flight and there was a guy next to me who was spitting. He made that ‘spit’ noise and then he spit it out. Gross,” Eliza began.
“I think it’s the most atrocious, rude and disgusting thing you can do. He did it constantly and I really wanted to say something.”
He added that while he understood the gentleman may have had a health problem, it was not appropriate to have a coughing fit on a crowded flight.
The 9Honey columnist is currently on a luxury getaway to Europe with her sister, reality star Liberty, and they have been chronicling their trip on social media.
Earlier this week, Eliza revealed the one question about her love life that she hates being asked, and it’s something many can relate to.
In a column for 9HoneyShe admitted that she doesn’t like being asked if she’s still single, but she does get asked about her relationship status at least “once a day.”

She also confessed that people are often “horrified” that she is “38 years old and not in a relationship.”
While she admitted that most of those who ask the question probably have good intentions, Eliza confessed that she finds hearing the question so often “laborious, condescending and boring.”
However, Eliza admitted that she approached the irritating and invasive question with a sense of humor.

“I often find myself joking in response about how I’m a spinster who’ll be 90 years old and alone with nine cats,” she said.
Elsewhere, Eliza defended her single status and described her current life as “fabulous” and stated that she was doing “what I wanted, when I wanted”.
“There are many reasons why people are single, and one of the biggest reasons is that they choose to be,” she said, adding that she was living her “best life” right now.
Eliza added that while she understood the gentleman may have had a health issue, it was not appropriate to have a coughing fit on a crowded flight.
