The Block contestant Courtney McInnes became upset on Thursday night as she broke down in tears over coming “second to last” during the Domain Listing challenge.
The furniture designer, 32, was seen sobbing while listening to Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars while out for a spin without her partner Grant Freeman.
Courtney, who came second to last on the domain listing and buyer jury leaderboards, yelled at producers that her results were “getting worse,” despite coming in second place during Sunday’s room reveals and winning $10,000 down your hallway.
‘The competition, yes, you are renovating a house, but the most important thing is that you are mentally exhausted. You don’t feel like you always do. “You really don’t,” he said.
After crying and de-stressing in the car to sad music, Courtney called her parents for support.
‘It makes me feel stupid like I can’t do my job. I’m in design and…’ Courtney told her parents as she broke down once again.
‘No, don’t feel that way. Don’t feel like that. You’re good at what you do,’ her father said.
‘I just feel like we’re not getting a lot of recognition and now I’m doubting myself. Is someone going to buy our house? “I don’t know,” he added.

Courtney and Grant, 30, came second during the Domain Buyers and Listings Jury Challenge on Wednesday night when their House 2 failed to impress 100 potential buyers.
Meanwhile, friends Ricky Recard and Haydn Wise from House 3 took home the win and their hefty $50,000 cash prize.
It comes after tensions rose between Grant and House 1 builder Jack on Monday night.
Grant attempted to rob one of the Venetian plasterers working for Maddy and Charlotte Harry, but his builder, Jack, objected to the underhanded tactic.

The carpenter put his foot down and harshly refused to provide services to House 2 after Grant and his partner Courtney denied help to the girls the day before.
Sisters Maddy, 24, and Charlotte, 22, were left without a plasterer the day before when one of their tradesmen did not have the correct insurance documents.
Grant and Courtney refused to help the sisters working right next to them, but foreman Dan managed to save the day by bringing in a plasterer he knew.
Courtney took the opportunity to slyly ask the plasterer to come work for her and Grant, going behind Maddy and Charlotte’s back to get a quote from him.
