The Block host Scott Cam has developed a particular problem with some of the contestants this year to the point where he walked off the set in frustration.
The veteran host, 61, likes to keep things fast-paced and gets annoyed when contestants take their time filming their interviews on camera.
“She hates boring contestants who take too long to film their moments in front of the camera,” a source said. Yahoo Lifestyle.
“Scott often storms off and glares at the producers if a contestant can’t answer his questions. It’s obvious when you know Scotty well.”
They added that Scott quickly learns who is comfortable moving at his pace and who is not, and then tries to minimize contact with those who speak more slowly.
“Anyone who takes too long to explain the basics is avoided by Scotty like the plague. He makes decisions very quickly and it is often difficult to reverse them.
“It’s clear that the contestants he has the most problems with are always those who don’t like the television side of their work, those who find it difficult to be natural or ‘interesting’.”
It is reported that a team on this year’s show quickly put Scott Cam out of action.

Yellow team members Ricky and Haydn have reportedly developed inflated egos during their time on the show, much to Scott’s irritation.
‘They already think they are famous,’ said a fellow contestant New Idea Magazine.
The publication was invited to Phillip Island in Victoria to chat with Scott, who also complained that best friends were delaying the procedure.
“Well, you’re late,” Scott snapped, threatening to start the celebratory lunch without them.
Fortunately, friends from Melbourne arrived just in time and everything went smoothly from there.

Amid the chaos of this year’s season, The Block is set to lose another of its crew in the coming weeks as the reality show threatens to break up a second unhappy couple.
Earlier this week, Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed that Kylie and Brad Baker are making an abrupt exit from the Channel Nine series.
The news comes just weeks after it was confirmed that Team Blue’s Jesse Maguire and Paige Beechey will be putting down their paddles in week five and leaving the site for good.
“Kylie had a complete meltdown at the end of week 12 and stormed off the set,” a production source revealed.
‘She flatly refused to continue filming and the couple didn’t even show up to finish their shared space in week 13.
“I have no idea how the producers will handle this on screen or how they will edit around it,” they continued.
The current series of The Block was filmed earlier this year in the popular Victorian tourist destination of Phillip Island.
