Kim is a constant source of inspiration for me. She proves you can do it all,” Elle told Emerald City on Sunday.

“I remember not long ago there was a suspicion that if you were modeling the underwear that was all you could do, but now you can wear the underwear and run the business too,” she said.

It comes days after Scott Cam defended his claim that Elle and Joel were “non-Australian” for leaving The Block.

Elle and Joel put down tools – only in production for 48 hours – in April after his mother suffered a bad fall at home in Adelaide.

“Obviously I wish Joel and Elle every success in the future. Only they’ve created quite a bit of chaos for us here in the first 48 hours,” Scott said Friday at a media event in the country of Victoria.

“The show… we put a lot of time and money into the beginning of our show and then we had to rearrange the whole thing… the whole promos had to be re-recorded,” he explained.

“It was just a lot of fear on our part when they just broke up like they did.”

Scott said “the good news” is that they have “one more couple to come and they are amazing.”

At Sunday night’s Logie Awards, Scott called the couple’s decision to leave the show due to a family emergency “unAustralian” and “p**s poor.”

Scott had told TV tonight on the red carpet of Logies: “We had a 48-hour challenge to pick the house you get and they were broken after 48 hours.

“It’s something that has never happened before.

“Forty-five thousand people have signed up to be on The Block and win life-changing money. These guys kept going and just couldn’t keep up with the pace after 48 hours.

‘Which to me is a bit unAustralian! Try it! It’s p**s poor.’

The couple made the difficult decision to leave Channel Nine’s renovation show in April after Joel’s mother Trish broke her neck during a fall at her Adelaide home.

The former AFL star’s mother reportedly broke her coccyx and fractured her wrist.

A Nine spokesperson confirmed their departure to Daily Mail Australia, saying: ‘Over the weekend we were surprised to see one of our new entrant teams depart from The Block, a few days before filming for the upcoming season.

“We wish them all the best for the future and are excited to cast two new Aussies for the opportunity of a lifetime on The Block. The Block Tree Change will be broadcast later this year as planned.’
