Death Stranding Director’s Cut for only 20 euros, that’s what it says on Steam at the moment.
Fancy a free time job as a parcel carrier in a world full of dangers? If so, then you should be on the steam page from Death Stranding drop by. The Director’s Cut is currently reduced like never before. Instead of 40 euros, you only pay 20 euros for your employment in the logistics of Hideo Kojima’s new plant until April 17th. The title did well for us.
Even with the Steam Spring Sale, which ended only recently, the title was only discounted by 40 percent. The upgrade for the standard version to the Director’s Cut is also reduced and costs five euros instead of 10 for a few days.
What is Death Stranding about?
The protagonist of the game is Sam Porter Bridgesplayed by The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus. Bridges is a freelance parcel carrier and will deliver goods from A to B in the USA in the near future. This is made more difficult by the fact that the world is like a rubble field due to apocalyptic events. On your travels you roam the beautifully designed landscape and encounter all sorts of mysteries.
What’s in the Director’s Cut? He adds a new area with a corresponding mission chain, training hours and a side hustle. Also new are optional aids that make day-to-day life easier for messengers, such as power booms and support skeletons.
Why is the game interesting? The title is definitely polarizing, but our tester Florian praised the atmosphere of the errands through rugged landscapes for the release for the PC. As always, Hideo Kojima’s work is largely a matter of taste when it comes to story, gameplay, and cutscenes. The gamer should be prepared to get involved with the peculiarities of the title.
Game Pass alternative: However, you don’t have to buy the title on Steam even if you’re interested, if you’re already a subscriber to Microsoft’s Game Pass. Because here the title is currently part of the catalog anyway. You can also find a complete list of all games that can currently be used via Game Pass here.
With the cheaper of the two variants, you are there for just under 10 euros. The first month is for New customers the first 14 days free of charge or often a complete month for 1 euro is offered as a test. For three euros more you get, among other things, additional access to the titles in the EA Play basic catalogue.
And do you take it? Or have you already played the title on Playstation or via Game Pass? What do you think of Hideos Kojima’s latest work? Too wacky or just right? Tell us about your experiences in the comments!
