A cult favorite confectionery item that disappeared from shelves two years ago has been quietly relaunched at Woolworths.
Starburst Fruit Chews were discontinued in June 2022, leaving sweet-toothed Australians mourning the loss of this popular treat.
At the time, Mars Wrigley, which makes Starburst, said that after reviewing all options it had made the “difficult decision” to discontinue the brand, leaving buyers completely disappointed.
But now fans saw the treats back on shelves and quickly shared the news on social media.
However, a Woolworths spokesperson told FEMAIL the popular purchase will only be available for a limited time for $5.

‘Guys, a quick PSA, Starburst Fruit Chews are back in stock at Woolworths. If you’re a Starburst lover, run, don’t walk,” he said in a video.
He confirmed that the flavors include apple, orange, blackcurrant, strawberry, lime and lemon.

Others also noticed that the cherry and watermelon flavors, which were included in the original package, were missing.
