There are many voice assistants locked in a tug-of-war over who controls your home’s smart speakers: Amazon’s Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri. We prefer Google. Your Assistant answers questions more accurately, has a simpler setup process, and connects to an increasing number of smart home devices. All of the devices below have Google Assistant built in, so you can ask it anything you search on Google or ask it to control smart home products like robot vacuums, smart plugs, lights, and TVs.
