The best cases and accessories for the iPhone 16

There is so many casesHere are some others I have tried that I don’t like as much as the ones I mentioned above, but might be right for you.

Casely Bold ($35) and Classic cases for $25: I like the Casely Classic More than the bold models: the buttons don’t feel so mushy and the hard plastic feels nice. Both have a nice cutout for the camera control, with raised edges around the screen and good support for MagSafe. They look fun too! There’s even a collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Art So you can have your favorite painting on the back of your iPhone. Forget about the trip to New York.

Apple MagSafe Silicone Case and MagSafe Clear Case for $49: If you want to stick with the official Apple cases, these are the ones goodThey are a bit pricey for what they offer. Silicone cases tend to collect pet hair and dust very easily, making them unpleasant. The clear case works well, but the buttons require more force to press than the previous options.

OtterBox Symmetry Soft Touch MagSafe Protective Case ($60), Symmetry Ultra Slim MagSafe Case ($50)and Symmetry Cactus Leather MagSafe Case ($60): All of these cases have a big hole for the camera control, which I don’t like. It looks weird and isn’t symmetrical (ironic). The soft touch is very nice, but it has mushy buttons. The Ultra Slim doesn’t have that problem, but it is slippery, and the cactus leather model is solid overall. Just know that cactus leather isn’t necessarily as eco-friendly as advertised.

Wave MagSafe Case for $48: You can choose from a lot of colors, but this case has a dull look to it. The action button is a bit harder to press and the whole thing is a bit slippery, but everything else works fine. The edges around the screen are raised and the MagSafe connection is good. The main reason to buy the Wave is that it is made from biodegradable materials (wheat straw) and the company is a member of Surfers Club Against Sewage 250a charity working to keep the UK coastline clean. Wave Case is based in the UK, so you need to factor in the cost of international shipping.

Speck Presidio 2 Pro MagSafe Case for $50: I tried it A variety of Speck cases and they are all solid, but my favorite is The 2nd Pro PrisonInterestingly, I found it to have more grip than the Presidio 2 grabIt ticks all the other boxes, with a wide, sloped cutout for camera controls, though the power button is a little harder to press. Speck has a proprietary locking system called ClickLock that makes the MagSafe system more secure, but you have to pair it with Speck’s accessories for it to work. I think if you tend to use MagSafe wallets, this might be useful, as it holds the wallet more securely than standard MagSafe. But for iPhone mount people, go with Peak Design’s SlimLink.

Spigen Tough Armor MagSafe Case for $26: It has been years and Spigen hasn’t found a way to make this stand work in portrait mode. and Landscape orientation. (It only works in the latter.) Other than that, it’s a nice, if slightly bulky, case with easy-to-press buttons and a roomy, angled cutout for camera control. The design is a bit boring.

Burga Rugged Case ($24) and Burga Elite Case ($85): Burga’s Elite case is very slippery; it has some grips on the edges, but they don’t help much. There is a place to attach a lanyard, though. Buttons are easy to press on both cases, with raised edges around the screen and a cutout for the camera control. The Tough and Elite cases don’t have MagSafe support, so if you want a case without it, here you go. (Why?) That said, the company does sell a Elite MagSafe Case ($90) But the price is a bit ridiculous. At least there are plenty of designs to choose from.

Smartish Wallet Slayer Vol. 1 for $30: This case has a built-in wallet that allows you to store two or three cards and you can easily take them out from the space left on the left. I don’t like cases with built-in wallets like this that add bulk and disable features like MagSafe and wireless charging, so it’s not for me, but maybe you won’t mind.

BodyGuardz Ace Pro MagSafe Case for $50: Want a lanyard? This case comes with one pre-installed (you can remove it). I found the case to be too slippery and the buttons are flush with the case, which might contribute to that. At least they click. The camera control works well here too, but the clear back attracts a lot of smudges. There is also a completely clear version called Clear Accent ($55)but I didn’t like it as much as the Totallee Clear case.

MagSafe Case with MagEasy Odyssey M Strap for $45: It’s a good value, considering it includes a protective case and a lanyard for hanging over your shoulder. You can even swap out the bumpers on the bottom when you don’t want the lanyard, though how many times are you going to do this? You’re more likely to lose the spare bumpers. The action button is a little mushy, but the rest works fine. I do wish there was more room in the camera control cutout, though.

Incase Icon MagSafe Case for $60: I’ve tried a bunch of Incase cases, from the Slim toward HaloAnd the Icon’s Woolenex material is my favorite because it’s so comfortable to hold. It has plenty of grip and ticks all the other boxes.

Mous without limits 6.0 ($65) and Clarity 3.0 ($70): I have no issues with these Mous cases and there are also several designs to choose from, such as the walnut or speckled fabric one. There is a big gap for the camera control and I think it makes the case look weird, but otherwise there are clickable buttons, fun textures, strong MagSafe connectivity and a place to attach a lanyard.

Ripple by Casetify ($62), Rebound ($82)and Ultra Bounce Case ($102): Casetify cases are highly customizable, but the company has gone big on the Bounce case design, where the corners of the case are accentuated for better shock absorption. This also makes the whole thing look bulkier. The Ripple case is a bit more reserved, and the Ultra Bounce goes crazy with multiple attachment points if you want to attach a Carabiner keychain or a Body strapIt is expensive and a lotBut at least the cases are solid, with reliable buttons, good MagSafe support, and raised edges around the screen.

Moft MOVAS Snap-On Case with MagSafe for $50: This is a very simple case. The buttons aren’t the easiest to press and there’s a big gap for the camera control button. It’s fairly thin, with raised edges around the screen. I prefer the company’s accessories to its case and you don’t need a Moft case to use them. That said, you do need one if you want to match it to the brand’s excellent design. Phone Lanyard.

Belkin InvisiGlass ScreenForce Privacy Screen Protector for $35: It only includes a screen protector, and Belkin doesn’t include an alcohol wipe to clean the phone (it does include a microfiber cloth and dust removal stickers). The application process is fine, but it does leave some room for error. That said, the privacy effect is great. No one can see the screen if you’re looking at it from an angle.

OtterBox Premium Pro Glass Blue Light Protector for $50: This one is easy to apply, but there’s little room for error if you’re not careful. I accidentally put it on crookedly. It’s made from 60 percent recycled materials, and OtterBox has equipped it with blue light filtering technology. I couldn’t tell any difference when comparing it to another iPhone model that didn’t have a protector installed.
