The best cases and accessories for Google Pixel 9

The world of Pixel accessories is growing every year. Here are some other cases I’ve tried and liked, though not as much as the ones above.

OtterBox Defender Series for $65: This is arguably the most protective case for the Pixel 9 series. It has a hard shell that splits into two pieces, wrapping around the front and back of the phone, and they lock into place with a click. Then you add the rubber sleeve over the top and holster, which lets you attach the phone to your belt. The holster clip can also double as a kickstand in a landscape orientation. Even the USB-C charging port is covered. I think the OtterBox Commuter I recommended above gets you almost there in terms of durability, but if you want to maximize protection and you like cases, go with the Defender.

OtterBox Symmetry Series for $50: This is a perfect case, but a bit common. The buttons are easy to press, the cutouts are precise, and the raised edges offer good protection. It is not unique in What it looks like and does not offer any other interesting features.

Spigen Tough Armor and Heavy duty armor for $16+: These cases are Also available For the Pixel 9 Pro XLThe Rugged Armor has a nicely textured back and edges, though these areas tend to attract smudges and marks. The edges are nicely raised to protect the screen and cameras, and the buttons are easy to press. The Tough Armor, on the other hand, is smoother and has a kickstand on the back. Sadly, this kickstand only works in landscape orientation, so this isn’t a case you should buy if you watch a lot of TikTok.

Thinborne Ultra-Slim Aramid Fiber Case for $70: This case is not meant for drop protection because it is incredibly thin. It is a good option if you hate cases but want to protect your device from scratches. That being said, it is In fact It’s hard to take off (unless you have long nails). Plus, it smudges way too easily, so I had to constantly clean it. It has a built-in MagSafe magnetic ring, but it struggled to reliably attach to other MagSafe accessories – the magnets just aren’t strong enough. At least you get a screen saver in the box, although freehand installation is required.

Casetify Impact Case with MagSafe for $58: Casetify has an endless amount of designs to choose from and while it has been criticized for how… Get some of those designsThere aren’t many places you can go to get a Pixel 9 case. Spider-Man on the back or one that makes you The phone looks like a film cameraThese cases have MagSafe rings on the inside, so they should work with most MagSafe accessories. I don’t like how prominent the Casetify logo is on the back.
