The Beauty Chef founder Carla Oates reveals her skin secrets and the exact routine she follows

The founder of Australian wellness empire The Beauty Chef, Carla Oates, has revealed her favorite skincare routine and the new ‘miracle’ facial oil she can’t live without.

The 46-year-old from Sydney swears by making sure her bowels are fed first and then following a simple routine every morning and evening.

‘I believe that beauty begins in the belly; So much happens in the gut and nutrition is very important if you want to transform your skin,” Carla told FEMAIL.

Last month, the brand officially launched its first skincare product – the all-in-one Intensive Rejuvenating Oil that reduces fine lines, wrinkles and promotes natural glow through the use of natural ingredients.

She then massages a homemade oil cleanser into her skin and gently removes it with a warm, damp cloth.

“Oils are a great way to remove dirt from the skin and have been used for centuries,” she said, adding that she uses a cleanser both morning and night.

“Anyone with any skin type can use it too.”

The all-in-one product is designed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, while improving skin tone and protecting the skin from external factors.

To use the oil, simply massage three to four drops on your face and neck in the morning or evening – but be sure to test before using it for the first time.

Its ‘hero’ ingredients include prebiotic Biome Oleactif to improve skin health, Bakuchiol as a plant-based retinol alternative and Kakadu Plum Extract as a source of Vitamin C.

In the morning, Carla finishes her routine with The Beauty Chef Flora Fix Balm, while in the evening she turns to the Sleep Powder.

On the official launch day, the product sold so quickly that the brand had to postpone its advertising campaign because it could not keep up with demand.

Sydney model Victoria Lee took to Instagram to rave about the product, claiming it is her everyday face oil.
