During his presentation, Landgraf admitted that watching The Bear was “a little anxiety-producing” and that particularly tense storylines were not “typically associated with hit television shows and Emmy Awards.”
He then added that, ahead of the release of the show’s second season, “we made the decision to let it all go because for those of you who watched it, it has a really beautiful and very uplifting ending.”

The entertainment industry figure went on to state that although the idea of releasing new episodes of The Bear week by week was floated, it was ultimately rejected.
“When we came back for Season 2, we debated, since we knew we had a hit, could we milk it a little bit?… So we thought it was a bad idea to change it for the audience,” he recalled.
Landgraf added: “The way Chris does it, even though the episodes are separate, each season has a complete vibe, so we decided not to change what we had already put in place.”
The FX president concluded by stating that future seasons of The Bear would also premiere all at once.
‘I have no doubt that we will continue to do it because we did it in the past. “Even if we could, I don’t think we would change it now,” he said.
