The Bear fans have called on producers to make a Willy Wonka-themed episode after the horribly bad immersive experience

Fans of The Bear have called on producers to make a Willy Wonka-themed episode after the shockingly bad immersive “Willy’s Chocolate Experience” went viral.

The now famous event took place in Edinburgh last month, where participants, including excitable little children, were promised “a universe where your dreams come true”, but found themselves in a dreary gray room, half filled with plastic mushrooms and AI-generated posters.

Footage from the day immediately began circulating online, with so much public interest that it sparked a television documentary about the chaotic event as well as a Broadway musical.

Now, excited social media users have called for a crossover in the upcoming third season of the comedy-drama series, The Bear, which stars Jeremy Allen White as chef Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto.

While it wouldn’t be beyond the realm of pure imagination to see how the storylines of Willy Wonka, the maniacal candy maker, and Carmy, the troubled, hot-headed chef, could intersect, the desire for a Thematic episode comes from fans who were shocked by Jeremy’s film. resemblance to Gene Wilder.

Willy’s Chocolate Experience took place in Edinburgh last month, where participants were promised “a universe where your dreams come true” but ended up in a dreary gray room.

For years, Jeremy, 33, was forced to deny any connection to the late Oscar nominee, with false reports circulating naming him as Gene’s grandson.

He attempted to clear up the confusion in an interview with Buzzfeed Puppy, stating: “I am not related to Gene Wilder. I think a lot of people think I am,” prompting his Iron Claw co-star Zac Efron to confess, “It’s hilarious, I can kind of see it.”

In an Instyle video, Jeremy admitted: “Everyone has decided that I look a lot like Gene Wilder, which I agree.”

He then joked about a meme that said his character from The Bear, Carmy, was a “ketamine Gene Wilder”, which he thought was “weird and funny”.

Jeremy was asked about his doppelganger in a separate chat with GQ, saying he “would do a comparison any day.”

During an appearance on The Late Night With Seth Meyers, Jeremy was also asked if he had seen the fake article featuring him with the headline “These Famous Grandkids Look Just Like Their Grandparents.”

As for whether he ever clicked on it, Jeremy explained: “No, I didn’t. Because I know he’s not my grandfather!’

He then revealed that he started hearing the comparison after The Bear’s first season aired in 2022 and said of the late actor: “I love him so much.

“The first movie I watched over and over again was Young Frankenstein.”

Unfortunately, Jeremy will never have the chance to meet his idol, his doppelganger and his fake “grandfather”, as Gene died in 2016, at the age of 83, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

However, fans have been calling for Jeremy to play the role of the late actor in a biopic of his life if the opportunity arises.

When the prequel to Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory was released last year, many were disappointed not to see Jeremy in the role of young Wonka, which instead went to Timothée Chalamet.

Now-excited social media users have called for a crossover in the upcoming third season of the comedy-drama series, The Bear, which stars Jeremy as chef Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto.

Filming on the highly anticipated third season of The Bear began last week in Chicago after the Hulu series won six Primetime Emmy Awards in January.

It looks like there are some emotional scenes yet to come as Jeremy was seen on set with his co-stars Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in front of a church for what appeared to be a funeral scene.

The characters were most likely attending the funeral of Marcus Brooks’ (Lionel Boyce) mother, who died in the season two finale.

Jeremy and Ayo, who plays chef Sydney Adamu, dominated the acting categories at the Emmys, Golden Globes and SAG Awards.

Last month, it was announced that the third season of The Bear would premiere in June.

According to Deadline, the date was revealed by FX president John Landgraf during a presentation at the Television Critics Association’s winter 2023 press tour.

The third season will also be released in one go so fans can watch it on repeat.
