Although the modern telephone design is not unknown, it is great to see that the dedication of HMD Global to the classic Nokia motifs of yesteryear remained.

Announced for foreign markets in February, the Nokia 8110 4G is now confirmed for the Australian release on September 20, 2018.

Known for the sliding mechanism used to answer both telephone calls and to access the phone's number block, the original Nokia 8110 became a favorite after its appearance in The Matrix (although in a spring-loaded capacity that did not really exist at the time – at least up to the Nokia 7110).

As the name suggests, the updated version of this classic feature phone supports 4G connectivity, allowing users to browse the internet, read emails and view social media apps while on the move.

It also comes pre-loaded with the classic Snake game from Nokia, as well as Google's assistant, map and search apps.

The battery life of the Nokia 8110 4G runs on the Qualcomm 205 mobile platform and offers 25 days of standby time, making it ideal for long journeys, walks and other occasions where an empty battery may be dangerous.

The Nokia 8110 4G is priced at a very reasonable price of $ 129 and will be available in Black and Banana Yellow from Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Big W and Officeworks stores.
