She was left heartbroken in 2019 after The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew dumped her on national television.

But Abbie Chatfield, 25, proved that time really does heal all wounds by extending an olive branch to Matt, 34, on Instagram.

On Thursday, astrophysicist Matt uploaded a photo of himself petting a horse while feeding the creature in a paddock.

The post, which Matt captioned, “Horsing around,” garnered many “likes” from his fans, but it was a double-tap from Abbie that made tongues wag.

Last month, Abbie revealed she’s “still crying” for Matt, who was famous for her love rival Chelsie McLeod during The Bachelor’s tear-jerking finale.

Speaking on her tell-all podcast It is much, the blonde confessed: “I told a man I loved him after about two months on The Bachelor. That’s pretty unwell. That’s not in the right mind.

“I still cry for him sometimes. That will be the headline of the Daily Mail – that’s fine. Give me free advertising for the podcast, thank you!’

Despite being confident he’d pick her, Matt said his “heart belongs to someone else” during the South Africa final — instead, choosing fellow chemical engineer Chelsie.

However, the two had no intention of breaking up just three months after the final episode aired.

Last May, a year after her on-screen grief, Abbie wrote an emotional Instagram post thanking Matt for the journey they shared together.

She wrote: ‘Final was filmed a year ago, how?! It has been the hardest yet most rewarding year of my life and I will be forever grateful for the experience and also Matt.

“It has changed my life, and the adversity I’ve been through during and after the show is the reason I can do what I love, and also the reason I need to look as beautiful as I’ll ever see. ‘

She went on to admit that she loved Matt and panicked before running into him in the final.

“I was so scared of what finally happened, but I wish I could go back in time and tell little 23-year-old Abbie, ‘Everything will be great, and your worth is not in a man’s affirmation, even if you love him.’

“Obviously I was shocked by the end result, I didn’t feel the need to doubt myself because I didn’t want to ruin the remaining time while Matt was doubting myself, I don’t regret this.

‘When I signed up for The Bachelor, it was honestly a laugh. I had no way of understanding what I was going through.

“Even at the finale, after being dumped on the rock, I thought it was the worst thing that could happen to me, but now, because of my resilience, I’M GOOD!!!!” she concluded.
