The Bachelorette’s Angie Kent Reveals Shock Addiction: ‘I Was So Embarrassed’
Angie Kent made a shocking confession on Tuesday when she revealed she was addicted to cosmetic procedures on her face.
The Bachelorette star, 33, said she’s been getting Botox and “cheeky fillers” for years, but became addicted to them in 2021 after filming her first movie Possession.
Penning for a lengthy column on the issue Yahoo lifestyleshe said her dependence on the injections got so bad she can’t even look at pictures of herself.
“I can’t even look back at pictures of myself that year without cringing and thinking why? Why would I allow someone to do that to me and why did I think I needed to?” said the Gogglebox star.
“The pain I went through that year physically from all the needles, but also mentally from seeing my face change so dramatically, was so damaging.”

She added, “Not to mention sending the wrong message to so many women who’ve followed me since I was in my mid-twenties… I was so ashamed of myself.”
Angie went on to say that she spent a lot of time lying about how much work she had to do on her face.
In a 2019 interview, long before she recognized she had a problem, Angie was open about her Botox and filler habit.

“They say it’s preventative. I just love it… a little bit. You don’t need it often, maybe once a year,” she said at the time.
“I really have everything, but I take care of my skin, so I get a little (Botox) and brutal fillers. It has been said a lot that I have a lot of work, that is not true. I haven’t had plastic surgery.’
Angie also undergoes regular facials to help with acne scars and other skin conditions.
In 2021, she spent $1,500 on a melasma treatment called Cosmelan, which involves wearing a facial peel for 10 hours and undergoing LED phototherapy.
