Former Big Brother star Tully Smyth is set to star in the next season of The Bachelorette.
The star recently threw her hat in the ring for the dating series by responding to a casting post asking people to tag the ideal next bachelor in the comments.
Tully, 32, was one of the first people to respond to the post, writing, ‘Can you tag yourself?’

A fan then replied, “I vote for Tully!” who Tully quickly double-tapped to ‘like’.
This isn’t the first time the influencer has publicly expressed her desire to play the Channel 10 reality series.
Last year, she said news.com.au that she would love to be the next bachelor, but would never see herself signing up for Married At First Sight.
“ I think it was a great concept originally, but over the years it has turned into a different kind of beast and it’s just not something I can figure out, ” she said of the controversial channel Nine show.

The Instagram influencer recently hit the podcast space with her own show, Too Much Tully.
However, the podcast has been plagued by negative reviews from trolls since its launch last year.
By posting a photo of one of the bad reviews, Tully begged her followers to leave positive reviews of the show on Apple.

“To everyone but this Karen,” she wrote. ‘If you enjoy Too Much Tully it would really mean anything if you rate it + leave your thoughts.’
In another post, the former reality star opened up about the ‘hate and vitriol’ she’s been receiving lately.
“This week has been very tough for me,” she wrote.

“I’ve always tried to lead with love and positivity, but sometimes the hatred and vitriol is deafening,” she continued.
“People seem even more angry and ready to attack than usual and it’s all too much for me at the moment, so I need to take a breather.”
Tully’s desperate plea seemed to work briefly, with a handful of rave five-star reviews appearing on Apple in the months since.
