In an Australian first, The Bachelor can end the series with only one man.

While Nick Cummins had a total of 28 women to choose from in the mansion, a compelling theory emerged that suggests he rejects both women in the end.

As the former Wallaby spent some time with a mysterious brunette in Sydney over the weekend, the bachelor parties gave clues about the program's result on Instagram.

Recently, on social media and in interviews, this year's top candidates, such as Sophie Tieman, Brittany Hockley, Cassandra Wood and Brooke Blurton, boast about the friendships they formed during filming.

The women have so publicly supported each other that the fans have wondered if they joined in the shared experience of being rejected by Nick.

In previous seasons, the winner has kept his distance from his closest rivals, a notable example being Laura Byrne of the Matty J. season.

However, this is not the case for Nick's season ladies, who seem unusually close to women who are supposed to compete with each other.

Since the beginning of the series, 30-year-old radiographer Brittany has been the bookmaker's favorite to win Nick's heart in the final.

However, her recent comments in an interview with The Daily Telegraph suggest that she either does not win or has since separated from Nick.

"No man will come between us and our new friendship," he said defiantly, referring to Cassandra, 24, and Sophie, 25.

Meanwhile, Cassandra also praised her best friends of the show, describing them as her "rocks," adding that "I could not have gone through this without them."

Meanwhile, an incident over the weekend has also led to speculation that Nick is still single after filming the show.

The former athlete was seen with a young woman in a white dress sparingly outside of Beaches Pizza Bar in Manly on Saturday night.

A source told Daily Mail Australia on Monday: "I've been watching The Bachelor and [the woman] He definitely was not one of the contestants. She was too small to be Brittany.

& # 39; They did not kiss or hug, but their body language was close. It seemed that they had gone out to dinner and were saying goodbye at the end of the night.

Nick's manager, Josh White, said in a statement: "As you can see, Nick is a well-known public figure and is stopped by men, women and children in the street several times a day and at night wanting to chat or take a picture.

& # 39; Thank you for communicating, but there will be no more comments & # 39;
