EXCLUSIVE: ‘It’s not fair!’ The Bachelor Rejections Are ‘Fuming’ Because Finalist Holly Kingston Already Got Blue Finch Verification On Instagram
With only three episodes left until Jimmy Nicholson picks his winner for The Bachelor, the rejected bachelors desperately try to cash in on their 15 minutes of fame.
One disgruntled participant, who spoke to the Daily Mail Australia on condition of anonymity, said some of the women “smoke” because they still hadn’t received a “blue tick” verification on Instagram.
‘It’s not fair! Channel 10 said they would apply to have us verified before giving us back control of our accounts,” they said.

Only five participants received the blue tick that was promised to them.
“They’re smoking. Lily [Price] has hers and she was only free yesterday, but most of the girls who have been out for weeks still don’t have theirs,” the ex-participant said.
Some women don’t think it’s fair that Holly Kingston is the only finalist to get a blue tick.

“Holly can’t even access her account as she is still on the show but 10 have gone and verified her account,” they complained.
‘Irena’ [Srbinovska, the winner from Locky Gilbert’s season] and half the girls from last year didn’t get theirs – and yet Holly already has hers!’
As of Thursday, the only Bachelor stars with verified accounts are: Holly, Belinda Robinson, Sierah Swepstone, Tahnee Leeson and Lily Price.

Being verified on Instagram offers many algorithmic benefits, as well as making an account more attractive to potential advertisers.
While several 2021 cast members have blue ticks, they won’t be able to monetize sponsored posts until their contracts expire in October.
