There are strict rules when it comes to kissing on The Bachelor as the producers are adamant that every pash is captured on camera.
But last year’s winning couple broke that rule, with Irena Srbinovska revealing on Wednesday that she had a secret hug with Locky Gilbert away from prying eyes.
“Were there any off-camera moments between you and Locky that we didn’t see?” a fan asked the 31-year-old nurse during a Q&A on Instagram.

‘Yes! This wasn’t actually our first kiss,” she replied, sharing a photo of the kiss that Channel 10 described as their first at the time.
“We actually had our first kiss off the camera in between scenes, which was very naughty and sneaky, but we couldn’t help it.”
Irena said the lovebirds were also lucky enough to spend a lot of time together during their single dates, which allowed them to form a meaningful bond.
“Even though you see a few minutes, we actually had full days,” she added.

“And I was also the only girl who had time alone with Locky at every cocktail party,” she boasted.
Meanwhile, Locky and Irena revealed this week that they’d lost a child to a miscarriage “a few months” into their relationship, but chose to keep it private.
They first spoke about the miscarriage in an interview with Who magazine? on Thursday, admitting it was a “devastating low.”

Irena said the miscarriage may have been related to the stress she went through in the wake of The Bachelor.
The nurse was secretly struggling after her father, Vasco, had a medical emergency and she was unable to be with him due to the Covid border closures.
She also had to deal with trolls after Locky infamously told his runner-up on The Bachelor, Bella Varelis, that he fell in love with her to choose Irena instead.

According to Who magazine, “the stress was devastating.”
Irena told the publication: ‘During our first few months together, I unfortunately had a miscarriage.
But Locky was my absolute rock and his support made me love him even more.’

Locky, 30, said: ‘We’re just normal people and although we put ourselves in the spotlight, you never know what’s going to happen in our lives that day.
“If you have to say something, point it at me, not my girl.”
Despite their heartbreaking setback, Locky and Irena remain hopeful of starting a family together in the near future.

“We talk about it all the time,” Irena said, adding that they’ve already chosen names for the two children they plan to have.
“We’re not spring chickens, so it will happen sooner rather than later,” Locky added.

How at least one in six pregnancies ends in a miscarriage
One in six pregnancies in women who know they are pregnant will miscarry.
But there’s even more that happens to women who don’t know they’re pregnant.
A miscarriage occurs when a pregnancy is lost within the first 23 weeks of conception.
The main symptoms are vaginal bleeding, which can be accompanied by pain in the lower abdomen.
There are several reasons why women can miscarry – it is common and usually not caused by something they have done.
If a miscarriage occurs in the second trimester – between weeks 14 and 26 – it could be a sign of an underlying problem.
Often miscarriages are isolated events and women will have successful pregnancies.
Most miscarriages cannot be prevented, although being generally healthy will help reduce the risk.
Losing three or more pregnancies in a row — known as recurrent miscarriages — isn’t common, but it still affects about one in 100 women.
