KJ Apa and his girlfriend Clara Berry have split after four years together.
The 30-year-old French model announced her split from the 26-year-old Riverdale hunk via a TikTok video on February 25. The couple shares a two-year-old son, Sasha Vai Keneti Apa.
When asked by a fan if she was still in a relationship with the New Zealand native, Clara simply replied, “No,” and then excitedly added, “I’m free.”
Clara spoke in her native French in the clip, telling fans: “You can see I’m happier, right?”
Despite their split, the couple gets along well and were even seen hugging and sitting next to each other at Paris Fashion Week on March 5.

In her video, Clara adds that “everything is better” after the breakup and states: “I think it is better to have parents who are separated, happy and who can be the best version of themselves, than to remain together in a situation in which they cannot works.’
Although he shared that “everything is going well,” he admitted that sharing custody hasn’t been easy.
‘I’m not with my son 50 percent of the time and therefore I won’t know 50 percent of his life. That’s something that’s hard to accept.”
She went on to say that her son has been handling the change well and is “very happy.”
Clara later said she “didn’t feel like talking anymore” about the breakup.
The duo first confirmed their romance in August 2020. They announced they were expecting their first child together a year later.
In September 2021, Clara announced the arrival of her little one.

‘Thank you for our late-night runs at the dairy, for keeping me company at work… and at the hairdresser. For the high maintenance and finally…for giving birth to our first child,’ he added.
KJ has yet to publicly address the split.
