Australian killed in Beirut horror blast turns out to be two-year-old – as his distraught family reveal their heatwave over the loss of their ‘beautiful son’
A two-year-old boy named Isaac Oehlers has been identified as the Australian who was killed in the massive explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital earlier this week.
The horror explosion tore through large parts of Beirut on Wednesday, killing at least 157 people.
Isaac’s family say they are heartbroken by the gruesome tragedy.
“We are heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of our beautiful boy after the Beirut disaster,” the family said in a statement.
Isaac was two and will be sorely missed by family and friends.
“The family would like to thank everyone who has offered us comfort and support, and would like to offer our condolences to everyone in Lebanon who is suffering from this devastating tragedy.”
