An adorable cross-eyed cat has won a legion of fans for his quirky cartoon appearance, with 313,000 people following his daily antics.

Fedya, a four-year-old rescue cat, has become a viral sensation on Instagram after his owner Natalya Zhdanova, 42, began sharing photos of him.

Natalya, from Rostov-on-Don, Russia, found Fedya in her backyard in 2020 and initially feared he would not survive.

The feline was born with a coordination disorder and initially had difficulty moving.

However, four years later, Fedya is thriving and has hundreds of thousands of fans.

Natalya said: “I didn’t notice that he had an unusual appearance; he just seemed cute and fun to me.” But my friends and acquaintances told me that this cat must be shown to the world.”

She added that she was initially reluctant to post pictures of him on social media, but soon realized how much joy Fedya was bringing to other people.

Natalya said: ‘But as soon as I realized that Fedya brings joy and smiles to people, I realized that I had found in this what I like most.

“Of course, I am glad that many people love Fedya and understand and accept my work in the form of humorous videos.”

Natalya shares funny clips from the cat’s everyday life, adding: ‘Fedya looks like a little girl. She is as naive and clumsy as a child.

In one viral video, he appears to be “meditating,” staring intently at a hanging circle spinning in front of him, and the post garnered 194,000 likes.

Another video shows the “clumsy” kitten trying to climb out of a small gap under a cupboard, racking up 111,000 likes.

One person commented on a photo of the cat: ‘It’s a cartoon cat!’
