England’s next generation of stars will start training again in the coming weeks as academies continue to resume player development.
Sports email understands that the Premier League academies plan to resume by the end of this month, with proposals for the beginning of next season to be discussed at Wednesday’s shareholders’ meeting.
Youth setups are prepared to follow the same first stage training protocols as seniors, with small sessions and players arriving in kit.

Different age groups are expected to return in phases, with reopening academies being a more complex task than relaunching projects.
This academy season was canceled in May. A fixed date has not yet been announced to the clubs when the 2020-21 campaign kicks off, although some expect a clearer picture on Wednesday.
The season will begin no earlier than September 12, but there is a desire to complete this term’s FA Youth Cup.
