A seven-year-old boy and his six-year-old sister have been found safe and long after the police desperately searched, after the police issued an amber warning.
Queensland police said the children left the Redbank Plains Recreation Area in Ipswich, southwest of Brisbane between 4:30 PM and 4:45 PM.
The car was last seen driving down Collingwood Drive to the Ipswich motorway.

“The 7-year-old boy and the 6-year-old girl who have previously undergone an Amber Alert are safely and securely located,” a Queensland police spokesperson said in a later statement.
“The police would like to thank the community and the media for sharing.”
