The 50 most attractive nationalities in the world have been revealed – and it’s India that comes in at number 1, with the US beating Sweden in second place.
The ranking is based on an analysis of thousands of Reddit posts about attractive countries. All Reddit posts referring to “attractive,” “sexy,” “beautiful,” “handsome,” “gorgeous,” “handsome,” “handsome,” and “hot” with a country were analyzed. Then a score was made based on the number of posts, comments and upvotes.
This is evident from the research of the swimwear brand Pour MoiJapanese are the fourth most attractive, Canadians the fifth most handsome and Brazilians the sixth.
The rest of the top ten consists of France (seventh), Italy (eighth), Ukraine (ninth) and Denmark (10th).
The UK misses out on a place in the top 10 – coming in at 12th. But the survey found that British men are considered the most attractive.

In the list of most attractive male nationalities, India comes in second place, followed by Italy, the US and Sweden in fifth place.
The list of most attractive female nationalities is led by India, with Japan in second place, Sweden in third place, Poland in fourth place and Italy in fifth place.

As part of the study, Midjourney, an AI image generation tool, was tasked with creating images of what attractive people look like in 14 of the countries.

With an extremely successful Bollywood movie scene, with women wearing gorgeous dresses and equally striking makeup and hair, it is easy to understand why these women have been crowned the most attractive.

The rest of the top three are Japanese and Swedish women. Both with their own unique looks, Japanese women often sport super clean looks that are the envy of fashionistas around the world, while Swedish women are regularly photographed opting for a more understated minimalist style, often accompanied by their recognizable blonde locks.’
It added: ‘For the most attractive male nationalities, the UK tops the list for users online who might be swooning over the quintessentially British handsome man you think of from classic period dramas like Pride & Prejudice or a more modern heartthrob. .
“Indian men rank second as the most attractive men whether it is their sultry looks that attract people or their typical strong family values that people find alluring.
Rounding out the top three are Italian men, who are known for their passion for life and are more expressive in their feelings. It’s easy to understand why users would find them so attractive.’
