A Texas mother and her two young daughters who disappeared Wednesday on their way to a play date have been found dead, police have revealed.
The bodies of Natalie Chambers, 31, and her daughters Isabel, 4, and Elise, 2, were tragically found by police just after 10 a.m. Thursday in a blue Ford Escape in the Farmers Branch, Dallas, 2008.
The Kauffman County Sheriff’s Office has not yet confirmed how the mother and her children died or what led to their disappearance.
Chambers and her girls were last seen alive at around 8am Wednesday when they left their home in Forney to attend a park play date with a friend in Grapevine, but they didn’t show up.

They were found on a 2008 blue Ford Escape in a Farmers Branch parking lot just after 10 a.m. on Thursday

In the hours that followed, after Chambers’s friends and family failed to catch her, a report of missing persons was filed with the sheriff on Wednesday at 2:30 PM.
Researchers pinged at Chamber’s cell phone, which ran to the intersection of I-635 and Midway Road, near the Dallas and Farmers Branch city limits.
Her car was later found Thursday morning in the area in a parking lot near Freed’s Furniture, which is close to the highway.
The Farmers Branch Police department investigates the deaths and awaits autopsy results.
At about 10:11 am, at the request of the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, Farmers Branch police officers were sent to 13300 Midway Road to help locate a missing person, Natalie Chambers, and her two children, ages two and four. old.’ Detective Steven Rutherford told DailyMail.com
Upon arrival at the site, the emergency services found Chambers’ vehicle, the 2008 blue Ford Escape, in the parking lot of the 4300 LBJ Freeway. Officers approached the vehicle and discovered that the vehicle’s three occupants had died.
Researchers are working to subpoena cell data to provide additional information that may help explain the reason for their disappearance and death.
No suspects have been identified as of Thursday afternoon, Rutherford said. He was unable to confirm what condition the bodies were in, pending an investigation from the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Rutherford told it Star Telegram this case was “devastating” to the department and especially to the officers who found the family.
“The very, very tragic events of this morning in which we lost three precious lives … agents must respond to that situation. That’s a lot. That’s a lot to see, ”he said.
“But we have work to do. You do your job and then you have to move on. And we will check our boys and make sure everyone is fine. ‘
The police remain where the bodies were found while the investigation continues.

Concerned family members had taken to social media in a desperate attempt to locate Chambers and her daughters.

In the hours since the news of her death was made public, Purcell remembered her sister as “hilarious and charismatic and never met a stranger.”
“She loved her girls very much and was an inspiring mother. I always told her I was glad she did first (motherhood) so I can steal parenting tips from her, ‘Purcell told CBS Dallas.
“Izabel and Elise were happy and so smart and witty. Izabel understood that the courage of her mother and Elise got her humor. They were beautiful and perfect. Our heart is completely broken. ‘
