Fashion-conscious shoppers reluctant to spend hundreds of dollars on high-end brands have discovered a $25 Kmart item that looks a lot like a $595 designer version.
The budget retailer now sells a pair of white slingback buckled ballet flats, and customers are noticing the resemblance to Ganni’s buckled ballet flats.
Both pointed toe flats have similar features, including metal eyelet details, buckle closures, and kitten heels.
If you look closer, Kmart’s shoes have a single row of metal eyelet details on each strap, while the Danish fashion brand’s off-white version has two rows.
Shoppers suggested that the cheaper shoes offer an affordable alternative to the designer brand, especially for those who can’t afford to spend hundreds of dollars.
‘Buckle up! Kmart launched a $25 version of a Ganni’ icon, the Australian fashion blogger behind Kmart Insider said on Instagram.
Bargain hunters have confirmed that the cheaper flats are “very comfortable”, while others shared that they were “running” to Kmart to buy a pair.
“I tried them on and they were very comfortable,” said one.

The blogger behind Kmart Insider found what I thought was an affordable alternative to Tory Burch’s Ever-Ready bag.
‘A designer-looking bag without the waste?! It’s a tough YES,’ said the blogger.
The bag-friendly printed style features a detachable coin purse, carry handles, a snap button closure, a main compartment and a zip pocket.
The brown monkey bag is made of synthetic plastic.

The blogger also noted that the $22 item is a great option for those who can’t afford a Louis Vuitton bag, which can cost more than $3,000.
Many were impressed by her comparisons between Kmart and Tory Burch bags, with one saying, “I literally saw the Kmart bag today… I might have to look for it again.”
Another said: ‘Ohh wow… this is great.’
