Brendan said of his happiest memory of his mother, “I’m not sure I’m honest. I rarely see my mom these days, so I don’t really have any memories of her. ‘
But for Brendan, things started to look up when his mom was told by social services that his brother James could be under her care – and that wasn’t all they celebrated.
The day was also James’ first birthday, so Brendan and his nan decided to throw a party.
But when the cameraman asked if his mom would come, Brendan replied, “She should, but I’m not sure. We’re talking about my mom and she rarely comes, so I’m not 100% sure. ‘
“She breaks promises like kicking a wall – and kicking a wall is very simple. Yes, it can hurt, but yes, that helps with the situation, because breaking promises hurts many people’s feelings, doesn’t it.

And when asked if he wanted to say anything to his mother, Brendan added, “Yes, please see me more often.”
But with the presents wrapped and swinging, birthday boy James was nowhere to be seen – and Brendan could run out every time he heard a sound hoping to see them in the distance,
Finally the couple arrived, with Brendan’s mom: “I need to come over to see him more often. I want you both – not just James. ‘
When Brendan pointed out that it changed when he was four, Stacie added, “That’s my own fault for being arrested. I should take care of you if you know what I mean.
In a final heartbreaking scene, Brendan further said that he doesn’t want a wife when he’s older because he “doesn’t want to feel the pain of losing someone.”
He added, “Well, to be honest, I probably already feel that pain.”
