Tammy Hembrow boasted about traveling to Sydney’s Vera Wang boutique to try on dresses for months before she married Matt Zukowski.

But in a surprising twist, the fitness influencer, 30, wore a wedding dress from the designer’s Haute collection and bought it outright.

While some brides choose to have a custom-made dress designed for their big day, Tammy was happy to purchase a style that many others have worn.

Sources tell Daily Mail Australia that the Vera Wang dress worn by Tammy is priced at $12,800, while other dresses in this collection start at $10,000.

The strapless blush silk ballgown features a multi-layered crinkled tulle skirt and was handmade in New York.

It has a corset-type bodice that highlighted the influencer’s ample cleavage.

Vera Wang’s most expensive wedding dress costs $47,000, but it is not available in Sydney.

In February, Tammy traveled from the Gold Coast to Sydney with her bridesmaids and daughter Posy to try on wedding dresses for her special day.

Taking to Instagram, she gave her fans a peek inside the glamorous fitting rooms at Vera Wang’s Sydney boutique.

In the video, Tammy and her bridal entourage enjoyed glasses of champagne while Tammy tried on several stunning dresses from the luxury brand.

“I felt like a real life princess,” she captioned the video.

Tammy and Matt’s wedding is believed to be featured in an upcoming issue of Vogue.

The iconic fashion magazine has featured several celebrity weddings in its pages, including those of Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham, Rita Ora and Taika Waititi, Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse and Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge.

Tammy and Matt tied the knot in a romantic outdoor ceremony in the grounds of the stunning $7,000-a-night Chateau Du Soleil in Byron Bay on Saturday.

As the couple held hands, Tammy became emotional and burst into tears as they exchanged vows and said, “I do.”

Matt looked tearful as he read his vows to his new wife on a piece of paper, with Tammy watching intently.

Tammy had the support of her bridesmaids: her sisters Amy, 34, and Emilee, 32, along with her half-sister Ava Olympia and Starlette Thynne.

Their daughters Saskia, eight, and Posy, two, served as flower girls and wore pale pink dresses, while their son Wolf, nine, was a page boy.

Among the guest list for the special day were the likes of Em Davies, Ruby Tuesday Matthews and her fiancé Shannan Dodd, Lily Brown and Anna McEvoy.

However, a source told Daily Mail Australia that Tammy’s father Mark missed much of the ceremony due to injury.

The Hembrow patriarch missed walking Tammy down the aisle and was forced to skip most of the nuptials to receive treatment for a sore leg.

He appeared on crutches after the ceremony before having to go to the hospital.

Tammy’s wedding venue is the same property where cricketer Pat Cummins held his wedding and where Hollywood star Matt Damon was quarantined when he visited Australia during the pandemic.

Located on the outskirts of Byron Bay, the $7,000-a-night Airbnb property features a pool, tennis court and four bedrooms.
