A woman in Pennsylvania was stuck in her house for more than an hour in January after an Amazon courier left a large package blocking her door.

In a hilarious video, student Izzy Rivkind comments on the escape from her own home with the help of a kitchen spatula after the heavy package prevented her from opening her own front door.

“Thank you, Obama,” Rivkind calls from Ardmore, Pennsylvania, at the start of the video as she starts planning her escape.

Student Izzy Rivkind from Pennsylvania was only able to open her door five centimeters after an Amazon package was placed in front of the door that blocked her exit for more than an hour

After more than an hour, Rivkind, a student at UMass Amherst, was able to get her nails done, but not until her Amazon package got a little bashing.

“I ordered a package from Amazon. It came while I was home alone. When I was about to leave, I tried to open the screen door that opens to the outside, “she said.

“To my surprise, the door was stuck and wouldn’t open more than 3 centimeters, because the package was stuck between these stones and the door.”

The video shows Rivkind, who seems to be taking her prison sentence home pretty well, and is trying to open her door to get out, but not being able to squeeze the big Amazon package right in front of her.

While the first door opens inside, the screen door gets stuck on the package as she tries to leave and a frustrated Rivkind is heard blaming President Barack Obama and giving the middle finger.

“Seriously Amazon, what difference does it make?” she adds.

In her TikTok video posted on January 12, 2020, Rivkind documents her final escape, trying to open the screen of the screen door before running to her kitchen to find a number of improvised escape tools.

“I finally got the package moving.

“I have recorded the entire process on tiktok, and it eventually got 126,000 views and 11.6k likes and counts,” the woman added.
